THESEUS-H4C at ERSA 2025: Advancing Circular Economy in Regional Contexts

We are excited to announce that the THESEUS Hub4Circularity (H4C) project will take center stage at the 64th ERSA Congress in Athens, with a dedicated session led by our Lead Project Manager, Charalampos K. Manousiadis, alongside experts from the THESEUS Consortium. The special session, titled “The Necessity of Circular Economy Implementation in a Regional Context”, will explore how Circular Economy (CE) principles can be effectively applied at regional levels through Industrial Symbiosis (IS) and Industrial-Urban Symbiosis (I-US).

The session will spotlight the pioneering work of THESEUS-H4C—Greece’s first Hub for Circularity—developed under the Horizon Europe programme. Discussions will cover the vital role of CE in driving regional resilience and sustainable growth, the integration of diverse stakeholders, and innovative strategies for inclusive and scalable development.

Featured presentations will include matchmaking frameworks for regional synergies, the link between CE and territorial development, H4C innovations, and governance models for effective industrial-urban symbiotic ecosystems.
