THESEUS-H4C Kick-off Meeting: A Bold Step Toward Circular Transformation
The THESEUS Hub4Circularity (H4C) project officially launched with an inspiring three-day Kick-off Meeting in Athens, bringing together over 52 consortium partners and key stakeholders from across Europe to initiate Greece’s first Hub for Circularity. Hosted at Serafeio Center, the event was opened by Dr. Angelos Amditis (ICCS/NTUA), who, alongside Lead Project Manager Charalampos Manousiadis, set the tone for collaboration, innovation, and impactful action. The first day featured keynote speeches and thematic sessions on circular economy strategies and innovative waste management solutions. Day two focused on internal collaboration with presentations of the project’s structure, ethical foundations, and digital tools, while day three dove into the technical heart of the project, highlighting work on sorting technologies, symbiotic energy and water flows, and the launch of five real-world demonstration pilots. Coordinated by ICCS through the I-SENSE Group, THESEUS-H4C marks a significant step toward building a scalable and sustainable circular economy model in Greece and beyond.
