RISA Sicherheitsanalysen GmbH (RISA) -an SME- is a leading vendor of large IT platform solutions. It has been founded in 1990 from a research group at the Technical University of Berlin. Originally focused on safety, risk, and reliability analysis, RISA has since expanded its expertise to include advanced IT platforms for decision support, data optimization and analysis, including Big Data and IoT. With extensive experience across a wide range of industries (e.g. transportation, energy, health, environmental management etc.), RISA delivers innovative solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making, supporting a wide variety of industrial and governmental applications.

About the partnership

In the Theseus H4C Project, RISA will contribute to WP2 by supporting the comprehensive mapping of data requirements, which will facilitate the definition of the data model. In WP3, RISA will assist in the activities related to data harmonization and secure data exchange. Within WP10, RISA leads Task 10.6, focusing on evaluating the impact of Theseus implementations on citizens’ health. RISA is responsible for mapping the links between Theseus actions and public health outcomes, applying the WHO framework (Driver, Pressure, State, Exposure, Effect, and Action). Furthermore, RISA will collaborate on analyzing health-related data, utilizing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies to assess the health implications of Theseus solutions and integrate relevant health indicators into the project. Additionally, RISA will ensure compliance with the reporting obligations outlined in the Grant Agreement, fulfilling transparency and accountability requirements to both the project coordinator and the European Commission.
