EMVIS is a company actively involved in the wider field of Water Resources Management, through design studies, advisory work and research. EMVIS has extensive experience in providing consulting services, detail engineering studies and carrying out research in the fields of Water Resources Management, Climate Change, Treatment, Disposal and Reuse of Wastewaters and Sludge, Water Treatment, Environmental Impact Assessment, Solid Waste Management, Environmental Monitoring, Ecoinformatics and R&D. EMVIS’ partners and staff are highly skilled inter-disciplinary engineers and scientists, with long experience in designing and implementing projects at an international level.
About the partnership
EMVIS main involvement is in WPs 8 and 11. In WP 11, EMVIS is coordinating the market analysis as described in task 11.4. This task involves a strategic approach to acknowledge market feasibility and identify potential commercial opportunities after the project ends. This implies a)understanding the relevant interest and exploring possible collaborations; b)conducting market feasibility studies to evaluate the practicality of entering the market; c)refining – finalizing go-to-market strategies. EMVIS has already led this process in other international projects and by joining forces with HSRT and all PPs aims to provide solid tailor-made business models, to address different customers’ needs, optimizing marketing, distribution, and sales strategies to best suit the unique characteristics of each target market.

Apostolos Tzimas
Civil Engineer, MSc
Mr. Apostolos Tzimas is a founding member and the Managing Director of EMVIS. With an overall professional experience of 25 years, he has a deep knowledge of the water sector with focus on science and technology innovation. He has coordinated flagship, EU-funded R&I projects, while his research activity includes participation in more than 15 sponsored research projects and 30 publications in International Journals and Conference Proceedings. He also has a proven successful record of managing with easiness business / product scale-up, commercialization and dissemination activities, team leading and advisory work.
Evangelos Romas
Civil Engineer, MSc
Mr. Evangelos Romas, head of the R&D unit of EMVIS, has 20+ years of experience in the field of Hydroinformatics and Water Resources Management. He has significant experience in hydrodynamic and ecological modelling, model calibration and data assimilation methods. With deep knowledge of major programming stacks and database systems, he specializes in development of operational forecasting platforms for the water sector, and deployment of customized ICT solutions tailored to end-users needs through numerous commercialization activities. His research activity includes participation in 10 research projects and 20 publications in International Journals and conferences.
Ioanna Anagnostou
Chemical Engineer, MSc.
Mrs Ioanna Anagnostou has extensive experience as a consultant engineer in projects related to Water Resources and Environmental Management. Having participated in numerous studies, involving wastewater and water management, EIA of sewage management works, waste management works (landfill sites, MBTs etc.), industrial processes, as well as design of wastewater and sludge treatment plants and landfills and circular economy processes. She is also familiar with relevant commercialization and dissemination activities. She has participated in about 15 EU funded projects and contributed in 6 publications in International Journals and Conference Proceedings.
Giorgos Antoniou
Environmental Scientist, MSc.
Giorgos Antoniou is an Environmental Scientist with more than 15 years of experience in complex environmental management issues and a specialist in Environmental Impact Assessments. He is highly experienced in industrial solutions related to energy management, circular economy and industrial symbiosis. Moreover, he has been working closely with local communities in renewable energy projects, geophysical surveys and has organized numerous information and awareness-raising activities. He has significant experience in projects both in Greece and abroad.
