The THESEUS Hub4Circularity project proudly participated in Verde.tec 2024, Greece’s leading exhibition for Circular Economy and Environmental Technologies. Represented by the ICCS – NTUA I-SENSE Group and key consortium partners, THESEUS-H4C showcased its commitment to advancing circular practices and sustainable innovation.
Among the highlights was the active presence of COMO Felt and Wadding, which featured an eye-catching booth demonstrating innovative applications for textile by-products. In a panel discussion titled “Circular Economy and Textiles: The Roadmap Towards Green Transition”, Solon Chaniotis (CEO, COMO) and Georgios Arapis (General Director, RECYCOM) presented valuable insights on reusing and reintegrating textile waste into circular economy frameworks, helping reshape sustainability in the textile sector.
Elina Manoli from the Technical University of Crete (TUC) also participated in the session, contributing to discussions on sustainable textile strategies and the sector’s evolving challenges. The event brought together key stakeholders, including THESEUS Lead Project Manager Charalampos K. Manousiadis and Circular Economy and Tracing Leader Kostas Chatziioannou (both from ICCS), who engaged with partners like Sandy Triferi and Vaggelis Arapis at the COMO booth to exchange ideas on innovation and circular solutions.
THESEUS-H4C’s presence at Verde.tec 2024 reflects its growing influence in shaping a greener, more circular future in Greece and beyond.
