Tvp Solar SA
TVP Solar S.A., a Swiss clean-tech SME, delivers the world’s most efficient solar thermal systems for district heating networks, and industrial applications. Established in 2008 in Geneva, the company has developed, manufactures and markets innovative High Vacuum Flat Panels (HVFPs) that are SolarKeyMark certified to deliver heat at temperatures up to 200C. Our systems have been installed across 11 countries in Europe, Middle East and Americas. In 2024 alone, we reached an installed capacity with 22 solar plants in operation for a total 44.5 MW. We delivered 18.5 GWh of renewable heat, saving 2.3 million m3 of natural gas and 4,600 tons of CO2 emissions.

We offer diverse engagement models, from collaborative projects and knowledge exchange to engineering consulting and technology transfer, to suit the specific needs of research collaborators and industry partners and ensure that every endeavour drives real results.
About the partnership
THL’s role in THESEUS is related to the automated sorting pipelines. THL will contribute to the related activities by implementing: (i) an advanced X-ray based system and the associated pre-processing algorithms for object scanning with sufficiently high resolution to aid the distinction of glass and metal pieces within waste streams, and (ii) a versatile delta robot with design parametrisation
capabilities to enable tailor-fitting for plastic object sorting, optimising the
trade-off between speed, number of degrees of freedom and cost.

Innovation Funding Manager
I am an innovation and biz dev manager. My 27-years career path brought me from the management consulting sector, innovation consulting and entrepreneurship into applied research. Since 2020 I work for TVP Solar SA, a Swiss-based clean-tech SME, with my main responsibility being to attract and manage public funding for the company’s research and innovation activities. I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc and an MBA. I am fascinated with applications of new technologies, I enjoy exploring new areas of knowledge and I am a strong believer of team work and of interdisciplinarity.
