FIBRAN S.A., founded in 1974 by Dimitrios Anastasiadis in Thessaloniki, Greece. it has evolved into a multi-national industrial group with factories in 7 European countries totaling 13 production lines and commercial activity in more than 60 countries worldwide positioning itself as one of the top European insulation companies.

About the partnership

FIBRAN will be one of the nine strong industrial partners involved in the Theseus project, acting as an end user. The company aims to close the loop on waste sources by producing insulating panels from waste glass and wool. Additionally, FIBRAN will contribute to experimental results, investigating and comparing conventional insulating building solutions with new alternatives. The focus will be on assessing various important characteristics, including thermal performance, acoustic insulation, fire resistance, mechanical strength, durability, cost, ease of installation, and eco-compatibility.
