CIBOS will mainly contribute to WP11 exploitation activities. As a spin-off company of ICCS, it will develop a business plan and exploitation and marketing strategy for the main Key Exploitable Results (KERs) of the institute, comprising sorting technologies for various materials, and the use of Extended Reality to assess human-robot interaction during sorting. Moreover, it will contribute to WP2, supporting the projections for 2050 scenarios for the Attica region, backed with data from its network of value chain stakeholders in the respective verticals.
Ms Athanasia Tsertou is the Chief Technology Officer in CIBOS Innovation. She is also the Innovation Manager in the ICCS research institute. Athanasia is an Electrical and Computer Engineer with a PhD in Wireless Communications from the University of Edinburgh. Her research interests comprise the use of Mixed Reality technology across several verticals, smart and green technologies enabling digitalization in transport, logistics, circular economy and climate change domains.
Mrs. Geli Latsa, is a senior researcher in ICCS of NTUA and Director of CIBOS, a spin-off Company of ICCS that is specialized in digital platforms. She has a Master on Crisis Management with emphasis on environmental issues. She has more than 30 years of experience in the transport and shipping industry. Her main research interests are in transport, logistics, green economy and in the environment. She is very experienced in managing human resources and in the financial and operational management of large-scale projects. She has also extensive experience in dissemination, communication and exploitation activities.
Elias Caracatsanis holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics. He is currently working as a Product Manager in CIBOS Innovation and is responsible for leading the product development phase translating business needs into technical aspects for a product. Previous experience consists Product Owner and Business Analyst positions contributing on development of software products utilizing cross-functional team collaboration frameworks and coordinating user testing scenarios, along with techno-economic analyses for certain business cases.
